In the past, I never made it to the Fashion Week in Berlin because it always took place at the same time as the exams at university and I didn't want to postpone any of my exams or assignments until a later semester. But now that I've handed in my thesis, I've finally managed to attend the Berlin Fashion Week for the first time ever. From Tuesday to Thursday, I lived in a gorgeous apartment in the "Unter den Linden" area of the German capital, Berlin. From there, I made my way to all of the events, parties and restaurants planned during my three-day visit. Although Tuesday and Thursday were fun, too, Wednesday was the most exciting day for me. I was able to gain lots of new inspiration and spent time with some lovely, intelligent ladies. Life doesn't get much better than this!

Thanks to CATRICE, I had access to the breathtaking "Berliner Salon", which invited 40 German designers to present their Autumn/Winter Collections for 2016/17 this year. The group presentations took place in the beautiful setting of the Kronprinzenpalais, where selected designers showed their fashion, jewellery and beauty collections. I took my time to look at all of the creations, and even managed to strike up some interesting conversations with other guests. The "Vogue Salon" was part of the exhibition. This is a renowned initiative for young German design talents, hosted by the Chief Editor of German Vogue, Christiane Arp.

To me, it was a huge and totally unexpected honour to be able to walk through the exhibition, and to experience and photograph people that I admire so much up close and in person. Thank you so much, CATRICE!

At 21:00 o'clock I went to the premium party at Bricks, a club in the basement of the Hilton Hotel. We drank Moscow Mules and Gin Tonics and danced the night away, fully enjoying CATRICE's generous invitation.
