CATRICE BEAUTY MUST-HAVES

by Hoard of Trends (hoardoftrends.com)

During the Paris Fashion Week, it is not only important to wear great outfits, make-up that lasts for hours and ensures a fresh look all day long is also essential! Since I am in Paris right now and always on the run, I thought it would be nice to share my #PFW companions and must-haves by CATRICE with you.

I like my make-up to look subtle and totally natural. "Less is more" is my motto, so I stick to my favourite look during the Fashion Week and only need a few basics. Diligent Snapchat viewers will know that I almost exclusively use CATRICE products on a daily basis. Today, I'd like to introduce my favourites in a little more detail and present the products that I used to create my make-up look...

During stressful Fashion Week times, my skin tends to be a bit oily. Because of this, my usual foundation doesn't last as long as I would like. So I've switched to using the All Matt Plus Shine Control Make-up, which prevents unwanted shine and lasts for hours. I can absolutely recommend it! The Camouflage Cream Concealer is ideal for hiding any traces of fatigue and lack of sleep, such as dark circles under the eyes. I use it in the colour number 010!

Once I've applied my foundation, it's time for the Contouring Palette! The darker shade is perfect for emphasizing the cheekbones and adding contours to the face.

The Ultimate Colour Lipstick in "420 Plum Fiction" has been one of my favourites for a while now. It has a high pigmentation and it's nice and creamy, so it lasts for a long time and doesn't make my lips feel dry. By the way, I always dab my lips with a tissue after applying lipstick to ensure a matt finish. My tip for red cheeks and a quick fresh-up when you're on the go: simply apply a small amount of lipstick on the cheeks and blend...

Shapely, full brows are very important to me because they give the face a gorgeous frame and accentuate the eyes. I like to use the Eye Brow Stylist in the colour number 040, which has a practical brush on one end...

For an everyday look, I use mascara that only provides a hint of colour and looks totally natural. But on special occasions like the Fashion Week, it's ok to go for a slightly more dramatic lash look. The Better than False Lashes Mascara in "Ultra Black" conjures-up fabulous volume and makes my lashes look longer and thicker, too. In combination with an accurate line created with the Eyeliner Pen, a beautiful look is guaranteed!

I recently discovered the High Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder and instantly incorporated it in my make-up routine. Usually, I'm not a fan of too much glitter and bling bling, but this highlighter offers an extremely subtle shimmer that works wonders and instantly gives your face a fresh look. I like to apply just a hint of the highlighting powder underneath the brows and on my cheeks...
