Tutorial: Eye Strobing

Wake-up call for expressive eyes

Strobing is the new contouring: the beauty trend of accentuating specific facial features with highlighter has become omnipresent.

With Eye Strobing, this technique is applied to set targeted highlights on the area around the eyes for a gorgeous look.

Eye Strobing instantly makes the eyes look bigger and wide-awake, so it's super popular on the catwalks and at red carpet events.

Step 1

For a light, radiant base, apply the Stylo Eyeshadow Pen 010 over the entire eyelid and blend well.

Thanks to the rounded tip of the pen, the creamy texture glides on easily and the coverage can be increased gradually, step by step.

Step 2

Use a soft brush to apply the Prêt-à-Lumière Longlasting Eyeshadow 020 in the crease of the lid to create depth and define the eyes. Also blend well.

The creamy powder texture of the Prêt-à-Lumière Longlasting Eyeshadow ensures a high and longlasting colour-intensity with just one application.

Step 3

Set targeted highlights

First, spray a little Prime And Fine Multitalent Fixing Spray onto the brush to maximise the colour-intensity of the eyeshadow.

Next, generously sweep the Highlighting Eyeshadow 010 on the inner corners of the eyes - for big, bright eyes.

Step 4

Create an eye-opening effect

Apply the light end of the Contouring & Highlighting Duo Pencil 030 along the waterline to visibly enlarge the eye and to set light, shimmering accents.

This 2in1 duo kajal optimally emphasises the eyes and sets gorgeous highlights.

Step 5

To complete the look, apply a coat of the Lash Dresser Comb Mascara on the lashes - for intensive volume and maximum length.

The special comb brush of the mascara creates a unique "lash-by-lash" separation: the lashes are separated straight from the root and covered with deep-black colour.
